Putri, Rizky Amalia, 2018. Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan tentang Teknik Menyusui terhadap Pengetahuan dan Perilaku Ibu Postpartum Primipara di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Blabak Kabupaten Kediri.

Teknik menyusui yang benar adalah cara memberikan ASI kepada bayi dengan perlekatan dan posisi ibu-bayi dengan benar sehingga proses menyusui optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang teknik menyusui terhadap pengetahuan dan perilaku ibu postpartum primipara. Desain penelitian menggunakan One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi penelitian ini sejumlah 26 ibu postpartum dengan jumlah sampel 25 diambil menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan checklist. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar ibu (60%) memiliki pengetahuan cukup tentang teknik menyusui sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan, sedangkan sesudah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan hampir seluruh ibu (84%) memiliki pengetahuan baik. Sebagian besar ibu (64%) memiliki perilaku kurang dalam teknik menyusui sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan, sedangkan sebagian besar ibu (52%) memiliki perilaku baik dalam teknik menyusui sesudah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan. Uji statistik pada penelitian ini menggunakan Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test pada pengetahuan didapatkan Z hitung > Z tabel yaitu 4,405 > 1,645, sedangkan pada perilaku didapatkan Z hitung > Z tabel yaitu 4,393 > 1,645 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan tentang teknik menyusui terhadap pengetahuan dan perilaku ibu postpartum primipara di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Blabak Kabupaten Kediri. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, maka perlu diberikan pendidikan kesehatan kepada ibu postpartum primipara untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku mengenai teknik menyusui yang benar.

Putri, Rizky Amalia, 2018. The Influence of Health Education About the Breastfeeding Technic Toward Knowledge and Behavior of Post-partum Primipara’s Mother in Puskesmas Blabak Kediri District.

The correct breast-feeding technic is how to give ASI to the baby with attachment and positioning between mother and baby correctly, so the breastfeeding process is optimal. The aimed of this research was to know the influence of health education on the knowledge of breastfeeding technique and the behavior of post-partum primipara’s mothers. This research design was One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population was 26 six post-partum mothers. Then the sample was 25 respondents taken from consecutive sampling technique. The instruments of this research werequestionnaire and checklist. The result of this research showed that before being given health education most of the mothers’ knowledge about breastfeeding techniques enough level (60%), while after being given health education a good level (84%). On mothers’ behavior, before being given health education showed that most of the mothers on low level (64%), while most of the mothers a good level (52%) after being given health education. Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test was used to have statistical testing on mothers’ knowledge with Zcount= 4,405 >Ztable=1,645, while on mothers’ behavior was Zcount= 4,393>Ztable=1,645. So, it can be concluded that there was the influence of health education about the knowledge of breastfeeding techniques and the behavior of post-partum primipara’s mothers in the working area of Puskesmas Blabak Kediri district. Based on this research, health education is needed for postpartum primipara mother to increase the knowledge and behavior about breastfeeding technique correctly.
